CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man from Charlotte was sentenced to eight and a half years in federal prison due to his possession of child sexual abuse materials. Anthony Acevedo, 27, was found to have more than 400 images and nearly 1,000 videos on his electronic devices that included disturbing content related to infant torture.
U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson stated that Acevedo’s collection included over 65 hours of videos depicting various forms of child abuse, ranging from sadistic acts to the physical and sexual torture of infants.
